I needed some content for the menu, and so looked at some menus for inspiration and created my own:

Food

Sandwiches

All served with a house salad and crisps. £4.95

Spicy chicken, pesto and spinach -

Roasted chicken in cajun seasoning, accompanied with red pesto and fresh spinach.

Honey roast ham and mustard -

Wafer thin honey roasted ham and english mustard in a malted bloomer.

Slow roasted tomatoes and mozzarella -

Delicious slow roasted cherry tomatoes with slices of mozzaerella and rocket.

Prawn Marie Rose -

Prawns in a rich Marie Rose sauce and a tasty salad for a bit of crunch.

Salami and Red Onion Relish - 

Italian cured salami, paired with fresh lettuce and a rich, red onion relish.

Paninis

All served with a house salad and homemade wedges. £5.95

Tuna Melt -

Locally sourced tuna paired with mayonnaise, cucumber slices and emmental cheese.

Roasted vegetable - 

A combination of courgettes, mushrooms, peppers and tomatoes.

Steak and onion -

100% British steak pieces with mature cheddar and red onion.

Cranberry and brie - 

Roasted walnuts and a zesty cranberry sauce on a bed of melted, soft brie.

Hoisin Duck and Aragula - 

Tender duck cooked in a sweet hoisin gravy and accompanied with a fresh rocket salad.

Served with a house salad. £5.95

Cottage cheese and chive -

A mild, fresh cottage cheese mixed with chives for a full flavour.

Vegetable chilli -

An alternative to chilli con carne, it’s packed with peppers, peas, carrots and kidney beans.

Bolognese and cheese -

Homemade bolognaise with 100% British minced beef, mushrooms, peppers and tomato.

Baked beans and cheese -

A tasty classic, baked beans in a rich tomato sauce and mature chedder.

Chicken salad and coleslaw -

A lighter option with homemade, crunchy coleslaw and a fresh salad.

Soup

Served with a rustic warm bread roll £3.55

Creamy mushroom -

A smooth mushroom soup packed with flavours such as garlic, onion, parsley and thyme. 

Tomato, red pesto and cream cheese -

Rich and flavoursome, with cream cheese mixed through for a creamy and thick texture.

Leek and potato -

A classic, creamy vegetable soup that is topped with creme fraiche.

Bacon and Parsnip -

A thick combination of bacon and parsnip, garnished with crispy bacon pieces.

Spicy carrot and coriander -

A spicy blend of carrot and rich, ground coriander.
