OUGD503 - Responsive: Collaborative - BEAR Pitch

For Fred's responsive session we had to write our roles and responsibilities and sign them so we will remember down the line what we each said we would do.

Pitch
In the session, we pitched our idea to two groups, which we designed boards for.

Feedback
The feedback we got was really positive, and two suggestions were made:

  • We could slot things inside the pack if we didn't have enough space on the back for the things we want to include
  • Children/Parents could go online and print their own templates so that they could colour them in themselves and print the background setting off for it
I really like the idea of being able to download templates online, as it encourages children to be creative and take it further.

Luckily, Jane was in our group and as she has three young children (4,7 and 9) that is our perfect age range. We asked her if her children would like it, and she said yes, we've hit the nail on the head. She also said that they would want to create their own versions to add to the collection which was encouraging to hear. After Jane's feedback I feel even more confident about starting the project.

Action Plan
We then had to write an action plan of what we plan to do separately and together, and with deadlines. Doing this made us realise how much work we have set ourselves, and doing 3 boards might be the only possible action instead of 5 due to the amount of other work we have as well.
